How To Sell Prettier Stuff

Ebay We all know that the trick to selling stuff on eBay is by posting great-looking product shots, right? Well, for $10, you can take ad-quality product shots of all the old trinkets gathering dust in your basement.

Basically what you need is a light tent. You can buy one for about $90, or you can make your own for under $10. All you need is a large box, some sheets of paper, some cutting tools, and some tape. Of course, you’ll need a camera and some lights —you can probably scrounge up a few bright lamps from around your house.

You can find instructions over at Strobist.com. David Hobby used strobes for his shots, but that is, after all, what the man writes about.

Luis-

Thanks much for the reference, but you have a bad link... URL is correct but your tag is likely messed up.

Thanks,
D

Gotcha D. I've informed the editors and we should be able to correct that soon.

Sorry about the delay, the link is now fixed.
