Tip of the Day: Get Real Close

Ajbw Despite the title, DIY Photography’s Complete Guide to Children Photography claims that there is no such complete guide. However, they’ve managed to put together a bunch of tips to help you shoot little children.

My favorite tip – one that I know works well – “Get real close.” You can take pictures of just their hands or you can make their face fill practically the whole frame. By getting really close to your subject, you can capture little details that might get lost in a wider shot.
