Your Photo: Our Critique
Bernard Siao shot this portrait of a man with the Canon 5D with an exposure of 1/80 at f/4.5 and ISO 400 at 105mm. It’s a very nice portrait. The subject is looking directly into the camera, which is very compelling. There is a lot of detail in his skin, hair, and hat. The out of focus background emphasizes the subject well. The only nit picky thing I have to say is that his right shoulder is a little over-exposed and part of his arm is quite dark. Otherwise, I really like this photo.
