Tip of the Day: When You Can’t Carry a Tripod…

489583 Pack a beanbag platform to support your camera. POD bean bags (www.bhphotovideo.com; $14-$20) screw into your camera’s tripod mount and act as a flexible base. Beanbags can conform to uneven surfaces, such as rocks, and also hold up in wet areas. They all feature a non-slip base and some include straps for extra security.
